In the novel: “One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest” there is duality and outcome of the rebel, the follower and the witness. As parents we often don’t agree with the acts, approach or execution of the co-parent and our children are the observers of this battle over the years and we hope that it doesn’t affect them, scare them or push them into decisions that will put them on the same path. I had a fear of being like my dad, but in the end I did, because I was afraid to have this situation in my life and have to deal with that pressure, but it’s not pressure, it’s responsibility. If we as parents try a little respect of each others lives and how our children live in our lives, we can still be the people we need to be and most importantly, be the best parents we can be..

    Great piece!
